Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

Collect, sort, and count all soiled linens, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry.

Operate washing machines, dryers, and pressing equipment safely and efficiently.

Use appropriate detergents and cleaning agents as per fabric type and washing instructions.

Inspect laundry for stains and damage; report any repair needs or lost items.

Fold, iron, and store clean laundry neatly and in proper order.

• Maintain cleanliness and order in the laundry area at all times.

Ensure correct labeling and timely delivery of guest laundry.

Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.

Monitor and report any malfunction of laundry machines to the supervisor.

• Maintain records of laundry loads, chemicals used, and machine operation.

Qualifications and Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous experience in hotel, hospital, or commercial laundry operations is an advantage.

Knowledge of laundry equipment, detergents, and fabric care.

• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy loads.

Basic understanding of hygiene and safety practices.
