Job Responsibilities:
Project Management: Lead and manage civil engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Design and Planning: Develop, review, and approve civil engineering designs, plans, and specifications. Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and client requirements.
Site Supervision: Oversee and coordinate site activities to ensure that construction is progressing according to the project schedule. Supervise contractors, subcontractors, and labor teams.
Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to the project team, resolving complex engineering challenges and ensuring the best practices are followed.
Cost Estimation & Budgeting: Prepare cost estimates and manage project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely procurement of materials.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with quality control procedures and project specifications.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges during the project lifecycle and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
Collaboration: Coordinate with architects, designers, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of the civil engineering aspects into the overall project.
Client Liaison: Communicate directly with clients to ensure their needs are met and project expectations are managed effectively.
Reports & Documentation: Prepare and present regular progress reports, including technical reports, progress updates, and financial summaries.
Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations on site and contribute to maintaining a safe working environment.
Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior engineers and project staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in civil engineering, with at least 6 years in a senior or leadership role.
Proficient in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Project, and others.
Excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills.
Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in construction.
UAE Driver’s License preferred.
