Job Description:

The Sales Executive – LTL Shipments is responsible for driving business growth through the strategic development and execution of sales initiatives focused on Less-than-Truckload (LTL) services, including warehouse storage, packing, and palletization solutions. This role requires a proactive, target-driven professional who can identify and convert business opportunities, negotiate client contracts and ensure sustained profitability and customer satisfaction in alignment with the company’s commercial objectives and compliance framework.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement and manage comprehensive sales strategies to promote the company’s LTL shipment and value-added logistics services across new and existing market segments.

  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients, emerging industry trends and competitive pricing benchmarks.

Strengthen Cannata’s market presence through strategic outreach and relationship-building with key decision-makers.

Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities through client visits, networking events, and professional presentations.

  • Maintain and grow a strong client portfolio, ensuring repeat business through service excellence and strategic relationship management.
  • Provide consultative sales solutions aligned with client logistics requirements and Cannata’s service capabilities.
  • Prepare professional quotations, sales proposals, and service agreements in accordance with company policies and UAE commercial regulations.

Negotiate terms and pricing to achieve profitable margins while maintaining competitiveness and client satisfaction.

Ensure all contractual documentation is accurately prepared, reviewed and approved in compliance with company legal standards.

Collaborate with the Operations, Warehouse, and Dispatch teams to ensure service efficiency, delivery accuracy, and client satisfaction.

Monitor shipment progress and resolve any service-related issues in coordination with internal teams and clients.

Ensure all pricing proposals adhere to the company’s commercial framework, profitability targets, and cost structures.

Contribute insights to management regarding market behaviour, competitor activity and emerging business opportunities.

  • Maintain accurate sales data, forecasts, and client communications in company-approved CRM platforms.
  • Coordinate with the Accounts Department to ensure timely invoicing, payment collection, and adherence to approved credit terms.

Actively represent Cannata at trade shows, networking events, and client meetings to enhance brand visibility and industry presence.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.

Minimum of 3–5 years of sales experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or LTL transportation services.

  • Strong understanding of UAE and GCC logistics markets, customs procedures, and trade compliance.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing key accounts.

Achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets for LTL and related services.

Sustained client retention and satisfaction levels above company benchmarks.

UAE Driving License preferred.
