Production Engineer (Pumps & Controllers)- Urgent Hiring for Qatar

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Production Engineer (Pumps & Controllers) to oversee and optimize manufacturing processes related to fire pumps, controllers, and associated systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production, maintaining quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the production facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise production activities related to pumps and control panels.

• Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining quality and safety standards.

• Monitor and improve manufacturing processes for efficiency, cost reduction, and productivity.

• Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documents.

• Coordinate with design, procurement, and quality teams to ensure smooth production flow.

• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.

• Ensure compliance with international standards (NFPA, ISO, etc.) related to fire protection systems.

• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks of pumps and controllers.

• Prepare production reports, documentation, and performance analysis.

• Maintain proper inventory levels of materials and components.

• Implement and support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.

• Minimum 3–7 years of experience in manufacturing/production, preferably in fire pumps or industrial equipment.

• Strong knowledge of pump systems, electrical controllers, and fire protection systems.

• Familiarity with NFPA standards and industrial compliance requirements.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in fire protection or MEP industry.

• Knowledge of PLC systems and control panel assembly.

• Lean manufacturing / Six Sigma knowledge is an advantage.

• Experience working in GCC countries is preferred.
