Job Summary

The Lead QA/QC Engineer (Electrical – Fire Pumps) will be responsible for ensuring the quality, compliance, and performance of electrical systems related to fire pumps. The role involves overseeing inspections, testing, documentation, and adherence to international standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement QA/QC procedures, ITPs (Inspection Test Plans), and method statements

• Conduct inspections and testing of fire pump systems, controllers, panels, and electrical installations

• Ensure compliance with NFPA standards, project specifications, and local authority regulations

• Review and approve technical submittals, shop drawings, and material approvals

• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and clients for inspections and approvals

• Monitor site activities to ensure quality standards and safety compliance

• Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, reports, and records

• Lead internal and external audits and ensure corrective/preventive actions are implemented

• Provide technical guidance and supervision to QA/QC team members

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in QA/QC, preferably in fire protection/fire pump systems

• Strong knowledge of NFPA standards, IEC codes, and QA/QC procedures

• Experience working on large-scale industrial or commercial projects

• Previous GCC/Qatar experience will be an advantage

• Certification such as NEBOSH, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, or equivalent is preferred
