Security Guard – Job Responsibilities

Monitor premises to prevent theft, damage, or unauthorized access

Control entry and exit of employees, visitors, and vehicles

Check ID cards and maintain visitor records

Patrol assigned areas regularly to ensure safety

Operate CCTV cameras and alarm systems

Report suspicious activities or incidents immediately

Respond quickly to emergencies, alarms, or security breaches

Ensure safety of property, staff, and visitors

• Conduct routine inspections of buildings and surroundings
• Maintain discipline and order within the premises

Assist in crowd control when required

• Coordinate with police or emergency services if needed

Skills Required

• Strong observation and alertness

Good communication skills

• Ability to handle pressure and emergencies

Knowledge of CCTV and security systems
