JOB DESCRIPTION:

To be responsible for the safe and effective installation, maintenance and operation of high-voltage equipment and substations, ensuring reliable power supply and adherence to safety standards.

Main Roles and Responsibilities:

• Install, test, and maintain AMI water and electricity meters. And ensure meters are correctly configured and calibrated.

• Diagnose and repair issues with meters and communication devices.

• Respond to service requests and emergencies related to metering equipment.

• Ensure that they receive sufficient specialized training to develop their behavioral and technical skills in coordination with Training & Development Department.

• Ensure that they carry out the required tasks in accordance with established procedures.

• Assist in upgrading and integrating new AMI systems and technologies and ensure seamless operation with existing infrastructure.

• Adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements and maintain detailed records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.

• Ensure preparation and implementation of the annual operational plan for Business Units/Department/Section in accordance with EtihadWE’s strategic plan.

• Ensure implementation of operational performance indicators.

• Achieve Emiratization percentage in line with the EtihadWE’s plans and policies in coordination with related division.

• Ensure that employees receive sufficient specialized training to develop their behavioral and technical skills in coordination with Training & Development Department.

• UAE driving license is required
