Job Title: Group Managing Director – Supermarket & Retail Operations

We are seeking an ambitious, visionary Group Managing Director to spearhead our rapidly growing supermarket and hypermarket portfolio across the UAE and broader GCC region. You will have full P&L accountability, tasked with scaling our retail footprint, optimizing our supply chain, and driving digital transformation to solidify our market leadership.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership & Growth

Drive explosive market growth by spearheading hypermarket and supermarket expansions in strategic locations. Meticulously optimizing the annual budget to deliver double-digit revenue growth and maximize profit margins across all store formats. Beyond day-to-day operations, you design and execute long-term commercial strategies that elevate brand positioning and aggressively capture market share from top competitors

2. Operations & Supply Chain

Elevate your retail operations by driving an end-to-end supply chain to eliminate stockouts, executing strict visual merchandising to enrich the in-store experience, and maintaining flawless compliance with UAE municipality food and health laws.

3. Digital & Commercial Innovation

Drive omnichannel retail growth by seamlessly unifying in-store operations with dark stores, click-and-collect, and rapid delivery models. Additionally, harness retail analytics to optimize pricing, refine category management, and execute promotional campaigns designed to maximize customer basket sizes.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years of senior executive leadership experience within a multi-brand/multi-store retail environment, ideally within the GCC region.

• Track Record: Proven success in commercial turnaround, scaling operations, and delivering sustainable revenue growth.

• Education: Master's degree or MBA in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field is highly desirable.

• Core Competencies: Full P&L responsibility, executive-level stakeholder management, and deep expertise in FMCG retail operations.

• Language: Bilingual proficiency (English) is a strong advantage.
