Job Description:

• Job Type: Full-time, Site-based Work Location: UAE (multiple project sites) Reporting To: Foreman / Site Engineer Role Summary We are hiring Drilling Workers to support on-site execution of dewatering and cathodic protection (CP) works. The role is field-based and involves assisting with drilling-related activities for dewatering wells and CP installations, as well as general site support, materials handling, and safe operation around heavy equipment. Key Responsibilities 1) Site Support for Dewatering Works
• Assist the drilling and dewatering crew in setting up and dismantling equipment at the work location.
• Support installation works (pipes/hoses, wellpoint or deepwell accessories, fittings, clamps, discharge lines).
• Assist in operating and monitoring pumps and generators under supervisor instructions (start/stop, fuel checks, basic troubleshooting, leak reporting).
• Maintain housekeeping around discharge areas and ensure hoses/pipes are protected and safely routed. 2) Site Support for Cathodic Protection (CP) Works
• Assist with CP-related field activities, including handling and laying of cables, support in jointing/termination preparation (under supervision), and installation of markers/test points as instructed.
• Support backfilling, compaction support (where applicable), and reinstatement preparation. 3) Equipment Handling and Basic Operations
• Assist rig/operator with daily routine tasks: loading/unloading, tool handling, casing handling (if applicable), and safe movement of materials.
• Perform basic checks and assist with maintenance tasks (cleaning, greasing, tightening, organizing tools and consumables). 4) HSE Compliance (Mandatory)
• Follow all safety instructions when working around rotating machinery, lifting activities, excavations, pumps, and generators.
• Wear required PPE at all times and comply with site access rules, barricading, and traffic management.
• Immediately report unsafe conditions, near-misses, equipment defects, and incidents to the Foreman. 5) Productivity and Team Discipline
• Work efficiently to meet daily targets and support uninterrupted operations.
• Cooperate with supervisors and team members, including working in shifts or overtime when project schedules require. Requirements Experience
• Prior experience in dewatering, drilling support, well installation support, construction site works, or similar heavy field work is preferred.
• Candidates with strong physical fitness and willingness to learn may be considered even with limited experience. Physical and Site Readiness
• Ability to work outdoors in hot conditions and handle physically demanding tasks.
• Ability to follow instructions precisely and work safely near heavy equipment. Skills
• Basic familiarity with tools, hoses, pipes, pumps, and generators is an advantage.
• Strong attention to safety and teamwork. Languages
• Basic communication in English is preferred.
